10:00am-12:00pm Class and Closing Ceremony
We ask that you arrive 5 minutes early so that we can begin promptly at 10:00am.
The last day and Closing Ceremony will be held entirely on Zoom. At this time there will be no in-person gathering.
PROTECTION CORD
For the Closing Ceremony we will be offering a Refuge Ceremony of tying Protection Cords. You will need a 20” cord, string, thread, or piece of yarn. These protection cords will be tied around your neck, or wrist, or even your ankle. The color of the cord is usually red, but whatever color you have will be fine. Please have the cord with you when you arrive to class on Saturday.
PRACTICE PERIOD RESOURCE PAGE AVAILABILITY
The Fall Practice Period Resource Page with the selected Dharma Talks and Guided Meditations will be available to you for 90 days. They are on Dharma Seed. There is no need to download them. The nine Daily Instructions will be available for 30 days. You have the option to download these instructions. An email will be sent out to notify you when they will be taken down.

On this last day, we will be offering a three hour hybrid class, our first in-person gathering since 2020, with food and time to visit at Anna Douglas’ house in Green Valley. Zoom options and Closing Ceremony will be offered, using the Meditation Hall button on the Resource Page.
The In-Person Gathering will begin at 10am, to allow people to get settled in before the class, and the Closing Ceremony begins at 10:15am and will end at 11:30am. Followed by eating and visiting.
Vaccinations will be required to attend the in-person gathering. Masks will not be required, but you are supported in wearing them if that feels appropriate to you. The indoor space will be well ventilated with open doors, open windows, and fans. Please determine what feels safe for you.
Please bring your own lunch. There will be a few snacks and beverages provided.
Registration Required for the In-Person Gathering for planning purposes and relaying information. In order for the In-Person Gathering to take place, we need at least 5 people attending. Directions will be sent on Friday to all In-Person Gathering registrants. For a sense of planning the trip from Congress and the Interstate 10 to Green Valley takes roughly 35 minutes.

For those participating in the in-person meeting Anna will have red cord.
