Meditation Brings Down Walls:
Resisting Border Violence Through Spiritual Practice
Friday, September 18th
Join us in meditation at the border wall near Ambos Sasabe to resist border violence. As we come together in practice to dismantle physical borders as well as the borders of our own hearts and minds, transformation is possible. We will meet at 6:15 am at Arivaca Community Center. We will travel in caravan to the ceremonial site at the wall construction site in Sasabe, AZ, returning to Arivaca Community Center by 11 am. This will be a peaceful gathering that will be held outdoors. Please wear a mask!
This event is part of an inter-faith week of action from September 14-18th called "Resist the Wall - Strengthen the Spirit: Inspiring resistance to border violence through interfaith action." For more information and logistics, visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/443735939911267/ Each event is open and meant to be accessible to anyone of any faith or of none.
