Dear Community Partners and Friends,
We invite you, your group or organization to the Walk for Peace Tucson on Saturday, February 14th. We’ll walk the David Bell pathway at the northeast corner of Randolph Park.
This silent walk is inspired by the Walk for Peace USA, in which Buddhist monks have embarked on a 2300-mile walk from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington, D.C. The monks' message of peace, compassion and love for all beings has inspired people across towns, cities and rural lands.
Walk for Peace Tucson is an inclusive nonpartisan gathering intended to foster the quiet strength of peaceful community connection. At a time when many are suffering, this walk allows space for all to mindfully and silently walk together with a shared intention: peace within ourselves, our neighborhoods, and our city.
