Loving-Kindness: Welcoming the Unwelcome - a daylong

  • 931 North 5th Avenue Tucson, AZ, 85705 United States (map)

At this time of year, messages about kindness, good will and generosity are all around us. Yet most of us feel stressed, burned out, and overwhelmed. Making matters worse is the wish that we didn’t feel that way.

Join David Bornstein in this day of sitting and walking meditation, Dharma teachings, and contemplative inquiry. We will explore how the Buddha's lessons on Loving Kindness act as an antidote to wishing things were different than they are. Loving-Kindness practice naturally softens the mind, and opens the heart; the very things we may be wishing for.

Bring whatever sitting gear supports you and please bring your lunch to offer continuity of practice. You are welcome to bring a snack or tea to share. A refrigerator and a microwave will be available.
