The practice of gratitude and Sympathetic Joy, Mudita, supports the opening of the heart to hold ourselves and others with more lovingkindness, compassion and balance.
Come join local Insight Meditation of Tucson teacher, Terry Magee, for a nourishing day as we explore these heart practices. The day will consist of sitting and walking meditation, Mudita practice, mindful inquiry, Q&A, and Dharma teachings.
Bring whatever sitting gear supports you and please bring your lunch to offer continuity of practice. You are welcome to bring a snack or tea to share. A refrigerator and a microwave will be available.
Parking is available in back lot, along 1st St west of 5th Ave or along 5th Ave between 1st and Speedway. Be mindful of parking permit signs.
Cost: Donation to the teacher offered at the end of the daylong.
